My story

More specifically, to reconnect with my own nature. The nostalgic mist of the islands has always fascinated me, and returning to the islands awakened an inexplicable desire to realign myself with this insular way of being and feeling.

Living life on autopilot, always rushing from one thing to the next, leads us into a rhythm that disconnects us from our own essence — from who we truly are and what excites us in life. The 2020 pandemic only intensified this, revealing a need that had long been dormant and only became clear when we were all forced to stop.

On the other hand, rediscovering the natural beauty of the Islands — and the surprising new perspective I gained while exploring countless trails and their stunning, energizing forests — became the spark that ignited the desire to develop new projects connected to nature-based events.

Ana Read Beato

I am a dedicated practitioner of silence, finding my balance through yoga, outdoor running, traveling the world and the challenge of climbing mountains. These personal experiences fuel my passion for nature and well-being, profoundly shaping my path.

Over the years, I have followed a path that reflects the search for a more connected and conscious life. In 2023, I became a Forest Bathing Guide through the Forest Therapy Hub, a practice that helps me enhance the restorative power of nature on my physical and mental health.

My coaching training has given me the tools I need to facilitate personal and professional transformation processes, helping others find their own balance.

After several years as a manager in high-pressure environments, I realized the negative impact that stress and fast-paced living have on our health, which led me to seek a more sustainable and balanced way of life. The creation of the Misty Islands project is the realization of this vision.

I deeply believe that my work can raise awareness and inspire greater awareness of the importance of protecting our health and that of the planet.

This holistic approach, which combines well-being, sustainability and respect for nature, is at the heart of my mission.

I associate silence with simplicity in life, less noise, lighter and simpler spaces, tranquil routines that are good for us.

The SUPER POWERS of Azorean nature helped me find my physical, mental, and spiritual balance.

I am committed to sharing what I’ve learned with all those who seek a way to slow down and discover a new rhythm for their lives, experiencing pure reconnection through a deep bond with the nature of the Azores and direct contact with its benefits.
